Reuse Last Year’s School Supplies

As some of us gear up to go back to school in the next few weeks, you are most likely going to find yourself gathering school supplies. Before you go out to buy all new stuff, don’t forget to go through some of the items you may have accumulated over the years to see if you can still get some good use out of any of them. We have made a list of items that you may be able to reuse for the school year to help you reduce waste, and save you money as well! .

  1. Backpacks and Lunch Boxes. Is last year’s backpack or lunch box still in good condition? Give it a good wash and it should be good to reuse for the school year. If you find yourself needing to purchase new ones, consider getting a more durable one so you can reuse it and save money in the years to come.
  2. Pens and Pencils. Many of us have spare pens and pencils lying around that we have no idea where they came from. Instead of buying new ones, put the spares you have found to use this school year.
  3. Binders. The great thing about binders is that you can take the paper in and out at any time. Take out last year’s notes and put some fresh paper in the binder to reuse for this upcoming year.

Reduce waste and save money by reusing supplies for this upcoming school year . If you find yourself needing to trash your old supplies to make room for the new supplies, we will gladly take care of it!
