Lakeshore Recycling Systems recently acquired K. Hoving Companies, a full-service waste management, recycling and dumpster rental company based in West Chicago, IL. We are pleased to welcome K. Hoving Companies customers and its 100 employees to the LRS Family. Together, we are better position to provide innovative waste and recycling solutions that not only improve our customers’ experience, but help to make a more positive impact on the environment.
Hoving Companies is named as Lakeshore Recycling Systems’ West Chicago Material Recovery Facility (MRF). Lakeshore Recycling Systems is committed to maintaining environmental excellence in all service areas, from our state-of-the-art facilities throughout Chicagoland, to our innovative services combined with advanced technology.
Lakeshore Recycling Systems now operates seven Material Recovery Facilities throughout the Midwest, increasing annual revenues to nearly $170 million and our workforce to over 720 full-time employees. Now, Lakeshore Recycling Systems has increased the amount of controlled inbound waste to nearly 2.2 million tons per year.
Temporary Services
Lakeshore Recycling Systems has implemented a Temporary Services Division to serve individuals and companies seeking roll-off services, portable toilets, street sweeping and on-site storage. As an experienced roll-off provider, Lakeshore Recycling Systems now controls nearly 20% of the Chicagoland roll-off market, and offers a full range of containers with dedicated 24-hour service.
With the addition of West Chicago MRF, Lakeshore Recycling Systems is the second largest portable toilet business in Illinois. We provide sanitary bathrooms for any occasion, from large events, to weddings, to construction job sites.
Lakeshore Recycling Systems’ street sweeping services for commercial and residential are designed to keep curbs free of debris, prevent the spread of dangerous contaminants into the sewer systems and local bodies of water.
Additionally, Lakeshore Recycling Systems offers on-site storage that is available to safely and securely store tools, equipment, overstock and general storage needs.
