Waste Connections of Oklahoma Recycle Guidelines

Waste Connections of Oklahoma Recycle Guidelines are very specific in this area of Oklahoma. Please read below for specifics on how best to manage your garbage and recycling needs.

OCC Recycling Guidelines

We currently only offer OCC (Old Corrugated Container) recycling for our commercial FEL (Front End Load Container) customers Monday through Friday. We do currently offer OCC and metal recycling for our Roll Off garbage and recycling customers.

Metal Recycling Guidelines

Currently, only Roll Off or open top container customers can take advantage or our metal recycling program. Both scrap ferrous and non-ferrous metals are accepted.

What To Recycle

Accepted Items:

  • Steel cans
  • Aluminum cans
  • Clean aluminum foil
  • Pie pans (2” or larger)
  • Metal jar lids
  • Steel bottle caps
  • Metal food cans and beverage containers
  • Empty aerosol cans

Keeping The Community Clean

Obviously, keeping the community clean is what we’re all about – but Waste Connections of Oklahoma has taken this concept one important step further. As stewards of the community and of the environment, we believe it’s our responsibility to keep our own environmental impact to a minimum. That’s why our garbage and recycling fleet is almost entirely run on CNG (Compressed Natural Gas).

Why? CNG is cleaner burning and more abundant. Plus, because CNG is so abundant here in Oklahoma City, we are able to source it locally from Oklahoma producers. You can also be confident that all of our landfills are environmentally safe and contained to their borders and our waste processing and disposal is environmentally sound.
