History of the Florin Perkins Public Disposal Site

In 2008, Zanker began the extensive permitting process to turn the old Florin Perkins Landfill into the most extensive construction and demolition debris recycling operation in Sacramento. The Florin Perkins Public Disposal Site (FPDS) is specifically permitted to accept and process Construction and Demolition Debris (C&D) as well as other mixed debris from contractors, haulers and homeowners. Besides these materials the site will also accept source separated wood waste, sheet rock, concrete, soil, asphalt shingles, wood shingles and demolition debris.
